Linking to Versions within Document removes link Parameters

I am trying to document version states in my file using a Change Log page like shown in this Figma video, when I copy a version link, it loads properly into a browser BUT when creating a figma inline text link it changes the link upon save (removes version history parameters). So when the text link is clicked it only references the current document version.

This happens in all of my documents but seems to work properly in Figma’s video. Support has been contact as well.
