Currently When drawing in Figjam on the iPad if I lay the side of my hand down while using the Apple Pencil 1, it will switch to hand mode.
If this can not be fixed, as it is in some other drawing apps, due to how Figjam is made; I would suggest a toggle mode between the two or some other mechanism.

I will add this feedback here as it is related. When using Concepts there is the ability to set the Pencil as the dedicated tool for drawing and use hand gestures for navigation (hand gestures do not draw). I find this to be a very fluid way of interacting while drawing and keeps me more focussed as opposed to constantly have to switch tools manually to move from drawing/selecting to navigating.
