The prototypes are agnostic of device, or browser, it is happening in different user’s computers and others who are viewing the Figma prototypes. This is happening for different prototype files regarless of size. Wondering if this is something Figma is experiencing lately.

Can you please try clearing out your cache in the browser and Desktop app and check if this helps? You can follow these steps in this article (for Mac or Windows): here
Sometimes issues in the app may be caused by something stored in the Figma app cache. The restarting step usually helps to make sure that the cache is properly cleared before reinstalling the app.
