Question

What does "Paste to replace" do?

SLT-UX

I’ve been going through the menus on the MacOS app to better familiarize myself with the app, and found this “Paste to replace” command in the Edit menu (note: it doesn’t appear in my Mac’s standard app menu on the top - I found it in the “inside menu”, the one you have on the browser version).

Anyhow, it’s disabled, so I can’t test it out. Anyone know what it actually does?

Oh interesting, I found it too, and at the moment it doesn’t appears to be doing anything, just disabled forever, my speculation is perhaps that Figma is testing this feature?

this very useful shortcut appears no to be working anymore … MacOs Ventura?

Oleh_Shydlovskyi

It’s now Shift+Command+R, so frustrating that they’re changing essential hotkeys that users got used to.
