I’ve created some variables, but one of them is not appearing when I search for it to try and use it inside a gradient.

You can see here that I have created the --color-good-light variable.

However when I try to search for it inside the same design file, it doesn’t appear

Not sure what I am doing wrong?

Bumping this issue, just ran into something similar when trying to add variables to gradient stops.  The weird thing is for me, I can browse those variables in the main file for a gradient stop, but they disappear on a branch of that file, so it can’t be a scoping issue.

EDIT: It was a scoping issue.  Looks like for a variable to be visible to gradients it has to have the Show in all supported properties color scope.  This basically means you can’t use color scoping if you want to use the color variable as a gradient stop.  If a Figma rep reads this, as a user I’d expect the gradient stop as it’s own scope tag or as part of Effects
