Unable to search for some components in Assets


Hello all, I’m creating a component library for a team of product owners to mock-up several apps, Everything was going smoothly until yesterday when every new component I created could no longer searched for in the Assets pane. Seen in the picture, these components exist in the library and can be brought into projects but simply cannot be searched for. This problem isn’t the end of the world but it is pretty inconvenient for my POs having to scroll through everything. Is there a limit to how many components are searchable? I have 118 components but everything after 115 can’t be searched for. Some folks had suggested that memory usage could be an issue but we have a robust corporate account and I’ve only just recently passed 1%. Any advice would be helpful, thanks!

Hi @Kyle_O_Connell, Thanks for flagging about searching component! We understand the inconvenience of not being able to search components in libraries.
I’ve reached out to internally to see if there’s any limitation for the searchable number of components. I’ll make sure to let you know once I learn anything.

Hello @Kyle_O_Connell, Following communication with the internal team, it appears that there is no limit to the depth that can be searched. However, there was a short interruption in the search indexing that may be related to this issue.

Could you please try republishing the library? Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Make a small change to a component in the library (e.g., add a brief description).
  2. [Publish changes…] > [Publish]
  3. In a subscribed file, Review the library updates and Update.
  4. Return to the library, remove the small change you made, and republish (repeat steps 2 and 3).

After republishing, please check if any previously “missing” assets now appear when searching for them. Other community members who have faced similar issues, please consider trying republishing as well.
