Fledging user here . I am unable to fix this bug/issue with increasing type size using shift. Until now, Figma would automagically increase font size by following a type ramp when I pressed Shift + âorâ (for example 16 would to scale up to 24, 36, 48 etc.)
After reinstalling the program, this scaling isnât available. The Shift + âorâ ramps by increments of 10 (16 would go up to 26, 36, 46 and so on)
Any idea whatâs going on here? Any thoughts & insights are genuinely appreciated. Thank you!
Hi @Rahul_Sawant, Thanks for reaching out with your question. I totally get why this might be a confusing.
Would you mind taking a moment to check the settings for the âBig nudgeâ amount? You can find it by following these steps:
Go to Actions/Quick actions
UI3: Go to the Tool bar > Click on âActionsâ
UI2: Figma icon on the top left corner > âQuick actionsâŚâ
Search for âNudge amountâ
From what we tested on our end, when I set the âBig nudgeâ to 10, pressing âShiftâ + âââ increases the text size by 10 (12 > 22 > 32âŚ). Please try adjusting the number to see if thereâs any difference.
Also, here are a couple of articles that you might find useful:
This was exactly it! I browsed over the nudge value earlier, but dismissed the setting thinking it will be about nudging object position vs text values.
