Question

Tagging Frames (and the page they are on) in a Figma file

Scott8

Hello Everyone,

I am curious if there is a way to tag a particle frame (or series of frames/workflow) in a Figma file, have that generate a link which can then be shared inside project tracking software. The current problem is being given a task on an old, inherited project, not being familiar with it, and trying to locate the frame/elements to modify. It would be super handy to be able to drop directly into the right location (Page and Frame) of a really large Figma file and not have to go searching for particulars. Anyone know if this is doable? I understand that a super well organized file and diligent people could direct you to a location but that ideal scenario rarely pans out. Thank you.

Never mind, I figured it out.

I will type out the answer here in case someone else searches and doesn’t know the answer:

Select the frame you want to share, and, with it selected, click the blue Share button. The URL generated will jump the recipient to that frame.
