Slides: I wish you could create components and have more design tools available right in Slides while in design mode toggled on

I like that toggling design mode on gets you more styling and features but it’s lacking a lot of features that would be great.

One example is selecting an object and just converting to a component, maybe adding some states or frames to turn it into an animation and quickly save and use all while staying in Slides > Design Mode.
