Z-index, the order in which layers are stacked, is missing in Figma. I would so like to have tooltips, dropdown menus, etc. get on top of all content, no matter where it is put in the layer list...
Currently there is a huge limitation in prototyping possibilities because any dropdown menus appear underneath the following element in the autolayout flow. I can’t remove autolayout because it would break designs across all useage of design system components and we can’t properly demo prototypes. Anchored by the lack of a customizable z-index property.
This is on version 125.5.6 for Apple Silicon. I could swear that previously, when I opened the ‘Add to version history’ modal, the Title field would automatically receive focus, allowing me to start typing immediately. Now it requires pressing Tab to focus the Title field first. I found a similar issue but it’s not the same.
When creating multiple assets from a template using CSV data (e.g., one row per person), each generated frame/file keeps the same name as the original template. For example: if I generate 20 assets for 20 people, all files are named “Template” or “Fichier”, which makes it difficult to sort or manage exports afterwards. It would be very helpful if we could assign a line data to the name of the template.
I want to design website like this Apkvise and this is the article page please tell me is it possible.
Hey folks, I’m an indie developer with a small team, and we just launched our first mobile app. It’s been exciting, but getting noticed in the app stores is way harder than I expected. I’ve heard a lot about App Store Optimization Services, but I’m not sure if they actually make a big difference—especially for smaller apps with limited marketing budgets. Do these services really help improve visibility and downloads? Or are they more useful for bigger apps with established user bases? I’ve seen companies offering keyword research, creative asset optimization, A/B testing, etc., but I don’t know if it’s worth the cost for someone just starting out. Has anyone here tried using App Store Optimization Services for a new or indie app? I’d really appreciate any feedback on what worked, what didn’t, and whether it’s better to learn ASO and do it yourself. Looking to make smart moves without wasting time or money, so any advice or recommendations are welcome! Thanks in advance!
I understand the limitations of support for Starter accounts, but I'm reaching out again because this is not a minor issue — a critical file I worked on for months has disappeared without explanation! It's not in Trash, wasn’t deleted, and no team was removed. The file simply vanished, and I’m left without a trace except for a screenshot of the design. This is deeply frustrating! I had been seriously considering upgrading to a paid plan, but this lack of support in a time of real need has made me lose trust in your platform. I’ll now be exploring other providers who offer more reliable service and accountability. Please escalate this message internally. Losing user data without any accountability is not acceptable.
In Figma Make, how do you delete extra or empty files from the code tree? I can’t delete them or prompt the AI to delete them successfully. I’d like to make sure they do not confuse future prompts.
Hi, I recently logged into my Figma and it shows I’m on the Education plan but I'm not sure what is the expiration date. I read that it lasts for 2 years, but is it possible to know the exact date as I don’t want to suddenly get logged out from my school project while I'm in the midst of it. I tried asking chatbot and it says I’m on a starter plan. So I’m a bit confuse and unsure.
Figma Make is not working properly for my team. We are able to Prompt. We are able to see code. We are not able to see the prototype. Can you help us troubleshoot?
I love the MCP project but am having a really hard time getting good results from it, every time I asking Claude Code or Cursor to style my UI component like the provided link it’d not even close, it was 85%-90% wrong, sometimes really wrong. Making it mostly unusable. Lots of experience with LLM coding, I know what I’m asking for it with-in their capability. I also recently tried Figma Make where I imported the exact some component, using the exact same prompt and it completely nailed. Figma Make using Claude Sonnet got all the colors right, the fonts sizes, added the exact stroke and rounded corners, it even added roll-over state and correctly guessed my design intent, really amazing! But when I do the same with Claude Code and Figma MCP but it completely fails, adding styles to the wrong components, getting all the fonts wrong, colors are all over the place, etc. I have some theories as to why but would love some feedback and help Theories 1. For an product I’m working on, the design team has a system used by all designers. We hand-off designs both in english and arabic. So all components and pages need to support switching the initial english (left to right alignment) design to arabic design (right to left). Currently, I handle this in the following way: English font is [x] and arabic font is [y] → add the font names as typography variables to switch between Text direction, english [ltr] and arabic [rtl] → manually handle or use a plugin like RTL layout Components for english [ltr] and arabic [rtl] view → eg list, checkbox, header → add layout direction variants to change multiple elements direction to right for arabic The problem with all of this is that it’s a lengthy process which is not scalable. The ideal solution would be that when a language is identified and set as a property/variable/setting, then on each element/frame figma smartly set the right rtl expectation → text direction right aligned, set font and it’s si
