Generally, there doesn’t seem to be a way to view the exact date of when you plan expires.

Logically, you’d assume it would be in 2 years time from your registration date, but it’s best to message someone from the Figma team for the exact date - I’ve seen this in previous threads here.

Once your Education plan expires, your files will not be deleted, but just locked. There was a quota of 1 project and 3 files for Figma Design and FigJam each, so you will be able to edit those again, once you renew your education plan or resubscribe to a paid tier.

As for the chatbot reply, it is most likely a hallucinated reply - the Education plan provides a lot more features, whereas the Starter plan limits you more.

Thank you for replying! Do you know how to get in touch with someone from the Figma team? Because I tried emailing support and the reply was saying “looks like I’m a starter account” and customers from here only receive support from forum and help center. 

Keeping your case in mind, my personal suggestion would be to reach out to education@figma.com to request briefly explaining your situation via email

If you did message this email, and they provided you with this information, then I’d suggest waiting for an official reply from Figma’s customer support team via this forum. Their replies seem very well formatted and informative.

Oh I didn’t email to this one, I emailed to support team I think. But thank you so much, I’ll drop them an email and hopefully can get some clarification soonI’ll just see whoever can help me with this
