Screenshots are not loaded

Hello! I upload the screenshots to a file, but over time the picture disappears. Only the layer in the left panel remains, and in the working panel there is an empty frame from the screenshot. The right panel of Fill is also empty. Please tell me why this is happening and what can I do? Thanks!

Hey @Anna_Mironova – that’s definitely odd, so I’d like to see if I can find out if this is a bug. Can you give me some details so I can start investigating?

First, how much time typically goes by before the screenshot disappears from the screen? If you’re not sure, no worries; a rough number would be fine.

Is this file being shared with any other team mate that has edit access to it?

Does this happen on both the web version of Figma, as well as the desktop app? Is it happening on both?

If you have this showing now, can you post a screenshot of how the whole screen looks (so I can see how the layer is appearing on the left, and how it renders on the canvas)?

Let me know when you have a moment.

Good morning!
I’m answering your questions.:

  1. The screenshot may disappear after a minute, perhaps when the page is refreshed or the next time the program is opened.
  2. Yes, the file is provided to another team member who has access and also does not see the missing screenshots.
  3. I use a desktop application.

Thanks, Anna. Based on what you’ve mentioned, I think this is on the file-level and not anything to do with the desktop app itself. It does sound buggy.

I’d actually like to get our technical quality team to look at this – I’m not quite sure what’s causing this, but they’ll be able to dive into this more.

Is the email address associated with your Figma account the best one to contact you at? If not, please PM me the best email to reach out to you with. I’ll get a ticket filed for you.
