Hey guys,
The RETURN TO INSTANCE feature, which is so very useful, doesn’t show up any more. But thank you so much for the useless UI3, we really appreciate it.
I was reading that there’s an option to right click the main component and this option would also be there, but it’s not there. Way to go, I was just thinking of ways to really slow down my work, you must have read my mind.
Please people, I am begging you, why are you making my life harder than it has to be? The number of bugs is simply ridiculous, I usually find workarounds because I am way too busy to stay on the forum, but it’s getting to a point where Figma is turning from a product I loved, to a product I really wanna avoid!
Hi there,
Thanks for the post! I tested it on my end, and it seems to be working fine.
Could you try the troubleshooting below?
- Close any Figma tabs you’re not using
- Browser: Force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window.
- Desktop App: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it. If the issue persists, try clearing the cache.
I hope this works but please let me know if you have more questions.
Thanks,
Toku
It worked again, but only in the Chrome browser. In other browsers, for example Vivaldi, the error continues to be observed. Even after clearing the cache.
Correction: the method with clearing the browser cache helped. You just need to open a new tab and log in again. If you try to log in using a previously opened tab, the button will still not be visible. I hope everything works out for everyone, good luck!
Thank you so much, clearing the cache in the desktop app worked!
Hi @Aleksey_Yankovsky @Cristian_Banu
Thanks for getting back to me. I’m glad to hear that clearing the caches helped in some cases. Our engineering team also looked into the issue and resolved the root cause, so it shouldn’t happen again. If you continue to experience this, even after reloading the tabs, please let us know.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention!
