Masking shortcut isn't working in desktop app on M1 Mac

I keep trying control + command + m, and nothing is happening. Any ideas?

I just realized it wasn’t working because I had VEEER open on my desktop which is also triggered by Control + Command. All set now. Thanks for your tip!
