Mask shortcut is not working in UI3?

When I need to create a mask with the command CTRL + ALT + M in Figma UI3, the shortcut doesn’t work, I’ve already checked the keyboard, the shortcut itself, but it doesn’t work, I can just go manually through the properties panel on the right.

Furthermore, when I do it manually, there is a kind of green demarcation where the mask was made.

Does anyone know why, or if this is due to a beta bug?

Hey @LUCAS_RITZEL, thanks for flagging this and apologies for the delayed reply!

This definitely seems like a bug. I’ve flagged it over to the UI3 team to investigate.

Hey @LUCAS_RITZEL, thanks for your patience!

Are you still having issues with this shortcut? The team has been trying to repro, and it seems to be working as expected on Windows 11 using Chrome 127.

Is the shortcut not working with the desktop app or using the browser? If a browser, what browser are you using and what OS?

This is causing a problem on the desktop and navigator, could it be something related to the keyboard language?

Hi @LUCAS_RITZEL, can you help check the following:

  1. Does the shortcut work when you switch back to UI2?
  2. Are you using the browser or the desktop app?
  3. Do you know what keyboard layout you are using?
  4. Can you make sure your keyboard layout setting in Figma matches your physical keyboard layout

The problem actually occurs with computers that have an NVIDIA graphics card, because in this case the shortcut key for the Game Overlay is "ALT + M’ and the Microphone activation of this feature is “CTRL+ ALT+M”.

Options for correction:

1 - Or you go to your Nvidia app and go to settings and deactivate this option.

Or you open your Game Overlay with the command ALT+Z and there you go to settings and modify the shortcut key for items that have ALT+M and CTRL+ALT+M

In my case it solved the problem!
