Hi,

I have created a new account for my school, and added students to the team I have created 10 days ago, but it says ‘You Education Plan’ is expired. I have filled in the form and verified work mailid and still the same issue. Please advise.

Hi @LMurugan, Thank you for reaching out about your education status.

After checking our backend, I found that your student status began on October 3, 2024, but it appears to have expired. Typically, student status is valid for 2 years, so this situation seems a bit unusual.

You may have already tried, but could you please follow these steps?:

  1. Log in to Figma using the account you wish to verify.
  2. Re-apply via this link: https://www.figma.com/education/apply

If you continue to experience any difficulties after following the steps above, I recommend reaching out to our team at education@figma.com. They are equipped to assist with your education status.

Upon approval of your application, Figma will prompt you to select a team to upgrade to the Education plan. You can refer to this guide for the details:
