The issue appears on both Figma and Figma beta app. When I switch organizations, it appears on the other org (other account and org) but for this particular account and ORG I’m part of, it doesn’t appear, and there is no indication that updates are available.
Every time I push updates, I have to go to the file, assets, library and then check for updates for them to become visible.
Clearing the cache didn’t solve the issue. If anyone has any idea on why this is happening and hove to solve this issue, I’d be very grateful.
Hi @_Anja, Thanks for reaching out about this. I understand your confusion when you’re not seeing the library update notification on the top right-hand corner as expected.
Let’s try to figure this out together with a few questions:
Does this issue occur only in the desktop app, or does it happen in the browser as well?
Could you check if this issue appears when using an alternative browsers?
Is this happening on a managed device or within a shared network environment?
In general, delayed notifications for library updates can be caused by network restrictions.
If you are connecting through a VPN, firewall, or a secured environment, it might help to allowlist our domain (*.Figma.com) or asking your IT Admins do so, as shown in Adjust your network settings.
If you still see the same issue in a browser after checking above, I recommend reaching out our support team directly here for assistance: https://help.figma.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
