Importing .fig file crashes the app every time (desktop app and web)

Hi. I really need to import a file, but I can’t seem to and Figma crashes every time I import a .fig file on both desktop app and web.

Can someone please help? TIA.

Here are some actions you can take to improve performance:

  • Close any Figma tabs you’re not using
  • Browser: Force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window.
  • Desktop App: Force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it.
  • Clear desktop app cache:

I tried every one of those suggestions but still can’t import the file to Figma. I have submitted info and link to the support team.
