i am using Figma on my mac os 10.15 but if i update Figma it wont be able to run anymore so how do i stop Figma from updating
Hi there,
Just to let you know, the required operating system for macOS is macOS 11 or later. So, if you prefer to keep using your current OS version, one potential workaround would be to use Figma in your browser instead of updating the app. However, please note that the minimum OS requirement for browser use is also macOS 11 or later.
Thanks,
Toku
Hello, I can currently access Figma from 10.14 in the browser, but would love a desktop version. Please allow me to use it in 10.14 as I cannot upgrade further.
You can download the older version here:
https://desktop.figma.com/mac/Figma-116.16.13.zip
but after you runnin it stops loading and forcing you to get a newer version(
Here’s the setup that’s working for me. Install LuLu and block the internet calls for the following processes and you should be good.
thanks, ill try it out! by the way any chance to download an older pc version? my windows os out of date also)
Sorry. Mostly Mac guy here.
ok. well i just installed lulu and dont know how to add those Figma rules for blocking them/ they arent showing up for me(
I also use MAC. I think there is no solution other than using the current version.
please tell me the full path to the DynamicUniversalApp file
The DynamicUniversalApp must have been from an older or newer install. I deleted it from Lulu rules and Figma is still holding.
Hi, when the update pop-up appears, try pressing Esc. It works for me.
this is really helpful
