Hover state acting inconsistent

Hello, maybe I’m just being dense or maybe it’s due to me being fairly new to Figma, but my hover animation on my nav bar is acting strange. I have a component set containing each of the states it can be in depending on which page link you are hovering over. Plus all of them are wired up the same way in the prototyping. However, for some reason, when I hover over the “home” link it also activates the “Shop now”. There is no link between these two. I can’t for the life of me figure it out. What am I doing incorrectly here? I added a video to make it clear what I’m dealing with.

For reference the way that “Contact Us” and “Journal” are working is the way it’s all supposed to work.

Sorry this is a link and not embedded. It won’t let me embed as I am a “new user”.

Hey @Blazing_Dezigns, thank you for reaching out and sharing a screen recording with us.

It’d be great if you can share a copy of your file with me and invite support-share@figma.com directly as an editor (this won’t affect your billing at all). I might be able to see in the file itself what is triggering “Shop Now”.

If you’re unsure on how to invite someone to a file, please follow these steps:

  1. Click the “Share” button at the top-right corner of the Editor
  2. In the next window, type support-share@figma.com into the text box
  3. Select the “can edit” permission option
  4. Click the “Send invite” button

Thanks,
Gayani

So sorry it’s taken so long for me to respond. Life has been busy and I kind of forgot I posted this. Anyway, in the meantime, I ended up rebuilding the whole thing, and it’s even worse now. I have sent the invite for you to take a look.

Hey @Blazing_Dezigns! No worries at all, are you able to share the file link with me as well?
