File owner can't edit the file

Hi everyone

Figma file I’ve been editing for months as file owner. Now I can’t seem to be able to edit it. I can’t click on any item on the screen, only on item menus and menus, but none of the design stuff.

Please can someone help me urgently? thank you!

Sorry to hear you are having issues to edit the file.

Usually, this happens if your design role is still set as a “Viewer” in the team or project. This would be why you’re unable to edit the file despite having “can edit” permissions. I recommend reaching out to a team admin/team owner and check your design role from the Members tab to be set as “editor” (if it is not).

If this doesn’t help, please reach out directly to the support team and provide a link to the file that you are not able to edit by filling out this form: here
This way the team can investigate it further the permission settings for you. Thank you!

Thank you for your message - I am the owner of the file. So I have edit allowance.

I already message support and no one has provided me with a solution yet.
