Figma File wont open? Figma stuck on loading

I can’t open file on Figma desktop. i’m using Figma for mac.

Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out. Is the issue occurring when you use Figma in the browser as well as on the desktop app?

Please also try to clear the cache:

You can clear the desktop app cache on a Mac in the Help menu under Troubleshooting. If you’d prefer to manually clear your cache, you can:

  1. Quit the Figma desktop app
  2. Open Terminal.app and enter the following command: rm -rf "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Figma"
  3. Try opening the desktop app again

I highly recommend trying to open it in the browser first so you won’t lose any unsaved files, if any. Then, please try to clear cache.
