Hi guys,
Is this a bug or is it a missing feature? If I take a components from one file, and I use it in another file, and after using it it the second file I make some changes in the original component, the changes won’t reflect in the second file. I basically need to copy it again from the main file to the second file.

Even I’m facing the same problem. Any solution will be much appreciated.

Hi Nellya,

I haven’t published them as a library since they weren’t strong candidates for that.

Just to clarify—components created in a different file won’t impact their instances in other files unless they are published as a library, correct?

Looking forward to your thoughts.

Best,
Krish

Correct. This option is available on all paid plans.

It sounds like you're copying the component instead of linking it as a library asset. To keep it synced across files, try publishing the original file as a library (Assets panel > Team Library) and then use the component from there. That way, any updates you make will reflect automatically in all files using it.
