As a designer working on a user flow, i want to use the connect tool on an element inside of a Frame I copied from my figma project, so that I can easily explain interactions between elements and screens.

Currently, our team works around this by:

  1. Drawing an invisible element around the area we want to connect. Gets cumbersome as more invisible boxes are drawn and moved around.
  2. In Figma, extract the component we wish to connect from the Frame and copy this into Figjam. Place the Frame nearby the flow, with labels/notes explaining what is happening. This works as we are often adding context near elements in figjam, but it would be a nice time saver to connect the nested elements in Frames without jumping through any hoops.
