Whenever I try using copy/paste in Figma it’s a gamble if the copied frame, or components will actually be copied and pasted correctly. Here is the common issue:
Select an element > cmd+C > go somewhere else in the file > cmd+V
Now about half the time it pastes something that was previously on the clipboard instead of the thing I just copied. It’s really frustrating and sometimes takes multiple attempts to copy paste something. This has been an issue for at least 2 years at this point.
I completely understand your frustration I’m dealing with the same issue. I’m designing a store for a client who sells gym accessories like a dip belt with chain, and it’s been quite a headache. They really need to address this problem because it’s causing significant delays. Sometimes, when I upload images, they don’t show up, and instead, a broken product image of the dip belt with chain appears when viewing the project. Just today, I double checked everything before sharing the file with my client, but when we were on a Zoom call, one image still showed up as broken. It was a close call, and I almost lost the client over it. Figma really needs to look into this and fix it. Or it might be issue on my side can’t understand it’s not an negative feedback btw.
