I know this question has been answered by the community before, but I didn’t quite understand the solutions, which were very brief. I’m very new to Figma, but pretty good at Photoshop so I am really digging the animations. I am trying to create the circle text animation as seen on https://andtea.com/ . I watched a YouTube video and was able to create the circle text with no issue. I was able to test it in preview mode before I made a component. Once once I made it a component I was able to test it in play mode, with no issue. The issue came when I tried to take that same component instance and move it into a frame. Can someone please explain to me what am I not doing? Thank you in advance
I accidentally found the answer to my question… In the videos they show you where they are “duplicating” the image from the very 1st frame of the prototype animation. I initially thought that was a duplication, but what they don’t show you or tell you in the videos is, you have to press the Alt button when you are dragging the duplicate image out. That new image/prototype will allow you to put into another frame and it will animate. Now I have to figure out how to make a transparent background to my prototype. Anyone has any suggestions I am all ears.
