Cannot paste images from google drive

1. Describe the bug/issue you’re running into?
Cannot copy and paste images from Google Slides or doc, big inefficiency to screenshot them and drop them into Figma.
Copy and paste works for other images but for some reason not Google drive files

2. Are you able to consistently reproduce it? If so what are the steps?

  1. Open a google doc or slides
  2. Copy an image within a slide
  3. try to paste it on board

3. Share a screenshot, recording, console log, link to the file, etc.

4. Is the issue only happening in desktop app or a specific browser , or both?
Happening on my browser

5. What OS/version and/or browser/version are you using?
Mac Firefox latest version

I am having the same problem. This is happening in Figma on browser and app. I am using Chrome 91.0.4472.77.

Bumping this as a big need. In ours and many of our client orgs so much is done on GSlides that we want to pull into Figma or Figjam to work with.

Currently I need to copy images into some intermediary app that supports pasting from GSlides (I use Apple Notes).
