Bug- Component Search keeps erasing what I type

Hi, I haven’t seen anyone mention this bug on the forum but I’m hoping someone knows how to fix it.

When I type in the name of a component in the Components search under the Resources panel, whatever I previously searched reappears in the search bar, erasing what I just typed. I usually have to re-type what I’m looking for 1-2 times before it will stop erasing it.

I recorded a video of the bug to better convey what I’m experiencing.

Would anyone be able to help me fix this? Thanks!


Hi @Caroline_Arima thank you for reporting this. It appears that you have encountered a bug that we are currently tracking. Our engineering team is actively investigating the issue to determine its root cause and working towards a solution.

i have this problem as well. At first it was random but now it’s doing this every time. Retyping it once works.

Waiting for the Figma team to patch this bug as it boggles up workflow :slight_smile:

Same here, every other time I write something in the component search my text is replaced by something I had input in previous search. Very annoying, hope it’s fixed soon.
