Hello, today I was experimenting until I stumbled apon
The Figma Logo > Preferences > Color Profile…
Then I changed the Preferred color Profile from sRGB to Display P3
Now I cannot change it to sRGB no matter what, it just toggles it back to Display P3
I have tried changing platforms and devices, I tried using Figma on Chrome and it has the same config set. Unless I change accounts it will have the same issue across all devices and platforms.
Can someone tell me what to do? I don’t want to make a new account just because of this 1 bug.
With the file open, click next to the file name. Go to File color profile > Change to Display P3 or Change to sRGB . From the modal, choose Keep color values (Assign). To save your changes, click Assign Display P3 or Assign sRGB.
Hello, thank you for your reply. This only changes the color profile of the current project. This makes it so all future projects I make have to be changed the same way that you just said. I want to make it so they all are sRGB and I don’t have to set them back to sRGB every time by changing it the way I said in the thread post.
Hey @arad, this is potentially a bug.
I’ve just created a support ticket. Your ticket number is #1083087, for reference.
Please try to clear your cache and also try to force-quit and open Figma in a new browser window (or force-quit the Figma Desktop app and restart it.)
Someone from support should be in touch with you soon. Appreciate your patience in the meantime!
Thanks,
Gayani
@Gayani_S I have the same issue. Can you please help? I have of course the paid plan.
Hey @Biggest_head, I’m sorry to hear you’re dealing with this issue—let’s get it sorted out!
Is this happening in both the browser and desktop app?
To start, clearing your cache might help resolve it. Here’s how: Clear desktop app cache.
If you’re using a browser, try clearing the cache there too:
Just a heads up: clearing the cache will delete any unsaved changes.
Let me know if this helps, or if you’re still seeing the issue!
