When selecting a specific shape, only a limited number of options are available to Change its shape. The full menu of making a shape is more expansive than what is offered when it comes time to making changes.
This makes workflows very difficult.

I was just about to write this up too.
Please allow all shapes in the change and add connecting shape shortcut.
The shortcut to add a connecting shape is really helpful and having all the shapes in there would make creating flowcharts much easier.
