Ability to stop videos in speaker notes

I am encountering sound issues for Figma Slides when in Presenter + Notes mode.
When playing a video that requires sound (especially a larger file size) the sound duplicates across both the audience and presenter screens and creates an out of sync duplicate of the audio, which of course sounds terrible.
Has anyone encountered this problem? Is there a way to mute sound on the presenter screen, but retain sound on the audience screen?

When sharing Figma slides in presenter mode with speaker notes, there needs to be a way to stop the videos in the speaker notes from playing.

Otherwise there are 2 videos playing simultaneously, and an echo on zoom.

Please add controls to stop videos, or don’t play the video on speaker notes view.

having the same issue and is also looking for a solution

Anyone found a solution yet? I guess there probably isn’t any until Figma fixes the issue?

Hey @Julia_Han, thanks for the feedback!

We’ll pass this onto our Slides team for future improvement. Rest-assured, that more video controls are coming soon!

Yes please!! We need a way to pause or stop the video from the presenter’s side otherwise there is an echo on both screens.

I faced the same issue during a presentation - this needs to be fixed ASAP.

There is no way to stop the video from playing currently.
The sound should play on the audience screens but NOT the presenter screens - or at least there should be a way to pause the video from user’s side.
