UI3 erased my muscle memory on where to go to adjust a layer’s position and layout properties. They now appear at different positions depending on what type of element I’ve selected. E.g. a component with a lot of properties will cause the position and layout sections to be completely scrolled off the bottom of the panel. This adds up to cumulative slow downs and increased cognitive load while adjusting these parameters across many layers quickly.

And there is no good way to restore this muscle memory because the panels are always in a different position.

Would love to see these moved back to the top or a way to reorder the panels via settings or something… Thanks!

Hey @Erin_HG, thank you so much for sharing your experience!

I can see how constantly adjusting to different panel positions could disrupt your workflow and make it harder to quickly find the controls you need. I’ll pass this feedback along to the team for consideration, as this could really benefit a lot of users facing similar challenges.

Totally agree with the changing positions. It is really hard to always look for the same function in different hights on the panel. I am staying on the previous UI until the last moment...

Another thing that’s become a bit mentally taxing is finding where to switch between “Hug,” “Fill,” or “Fixed.” It used to be instantly clear which property was applied, but now it takes more effort to figure it out. Sometimes the field shows both the size and the property, other times it shows only the measurements and to actually see the property, you have to click and open it. It feels less intuitive and adds extra steps to something that used to be really straightforward. Making this more visible again would really help keep the flow going during design.
