I want to give feedback on the new UI3 grouping. I think it is conceptually wrong to have the spacing between elements together with the auto layout controls since they are two very separate things: auto layout are controls internal to an element, while the spacing between elements is an in-between elements control.
Having them together is misleading for two reasons:
- When there are no auto layouts, this part of the panel is called just layout, so if you select two auto layout it is not recognizable
- The icons are all very similar and it becomes difficult to recognize the gutters belonging to the auto layout and the ones in-between elements
