Suggestion: Implement a feature that allows users to automatically jump to the relevant section of the FigJam board set by the moderator upon opening.

As a user, when I open the FigJam board, I want to be directed to the specific area currently highlighted by the moderator. This helps me avoid disorientation on large boards

Benefits:

  • Enhances user experience by providing immediate context.
  • Reduces time spent navigating large boards.
  • Improves efficiency during multiple meeting sessions.

Hey @Ronny1, thanks for the feedback!

We’ll pass this onto the FigJam team for future consideration.

In the meantime, as a workaround, you can already generate a link to a specific section, shape, stamp, sticky, or even a widget within a FigJam file. Just select where you want the link to open, then right-click on the canvas and choose “Copy link to [section, shape, stamp, etc]” or use the shortcut to generate a link that will take others to that exact place within the FigJam file.
