Over and over and over again:

• select a few things at once
• SHIFT+A to autolayout
• change autolayout orientation to L→R
• OOPS all the children’s widths are screwed up now
• undo, select every child, update width to “fixed” or “hug” as appropriate
• change autolayout orientation to L→R

Anything that auto-updates children/parents is a problem, but I do understand why SOMETIMES it makes sense or is necessary. This is neither and is maddening!
