Paste unformatted text into variables

Currently when I copy text that has it’s styling set by a variable in our component library then paste that text string into a collection it also creates an additional variables (and it’s associated modes).

If we could lean on the standard Shift + CMD/Ctrl + V shortcut to paste without any formatting that would remove the extra step of deleting the erroneous variables or pasting the text elsewhere to remove the formatting and back into the collection.
