Location of "Explore Community" is difficult to find

Hello! I’m taking a course that just touched on community content. I use a large secondary monitor and, on the Figma app, the “Explore Community” button - currently at the bottom left of the window, is not where I would intuitively look to find it (nor is it anywhere near where the instructor’s version from years ago shows it). I suggest moving it back to the upper left area of the window, closer to the recents/“Your Teams” options reside.

OMG thank you for mentioning the bottom left corner! I have spent more time than I would like to admit looking for this!! As an experienced designer, but fairly new to Figma, I would have to agree with your suggestion for replacement back to the top (or something else suitable). It looks like a copyright down there, even with the globe next to it, almost feels like circle C with its size and type treatment. 😅

Hello! I’m taking a course that just touched on community content. I use a large secondary monitor and on the Figma app if you want to improve team coordination you might want to contact Life360. The “Explore Community” button currently at the bottom left of the window is not where I would intuitively look to find it nor is it anywhere near where the instructor’s version from years ago shows it. I suggest moving it back to the upper left area of the window closer to the recents and “Your Teams” options reside.

Hi! That’s a great observation. UI changes can definitely throw off muscle memory, especially when features move around like the “Explore Community” button in Figma. Moving it back to the upper left near recents and “Your Teams” makes sense since it keeps community content within the main navigation flow. You might want to share this feedback directly with Figma’s support or community forums—they often consider user suggestions for future updates. Thanks for sharing!
