Hi,

Because of short Commings in FIGMA, we would like to use annotations or grid styles, to show advance layout alignments being applied to containers visually.

We don’t want to see Grid Styles displaying over all our nice components making things look horrible. So we like to flip between a set of parameterized variables, setting the grid colors all to full transparent.

Then the other things would be to look at better support for confining grids to specific sections of a page, like the bottom left corner, were show mini page, with layout.

Sadly, one needs to specify a container positions into which grid styles needs to render.

So another level of abstraction, put grid styles into grid containers, which be positioned as annotations on objects. They don’t exist for exports, just visual clues.

That have a design layer or label that every item can belong to, that turn on or off different assisting layers for designs.

Kind Regards,

Wesley Oliver

Hey @Wesley4, thanks for the feedback!

We’ll pass this onto our team for future consideration.
