Keyboard shortcut to duplicate in place (without offset)

Default Ctrl+D behavior, when duplicating an object, is to repeat the last offset that was used on the object. While this is super useful in many cases, there are very often situations, where I don’t want this behavior, or where Figma isn’t able to correctly reproduce the offset (like when rotations are involved).

In those cases, it would be nice if there was an alternative keyboard shortcut that just does “Duplicate in Place”. Afaict, Ctrl+Alt+D for instance is not used, and would be a good candidate.

If I am missing an existing feature, pls let me know!

Hey @Vivien_Schreiber_Mi_pu_mi, thanks for the feedback!

There isn’t a shortcut for this right now, but we’ll pass this onto the team for future consideration.
