Interactions Panel - resize & copy/paste

  • It would be beneficial if Figma included the option to enlarge the interactions panel. Reading all the conditional and variable interactions within the small preset frame size can be challenging. Enabling users to expand the panel size, similar to the way the variables frame can be expanded, would make it easier for users to review the interactions they have set.

  • Being able to copy interaction would be extremely helpful and reduce redundant work

    Is there any way to expand the variable window? It’s quite difficult to view the entire logic I have applied.

      Hey @Ashim_Biswas, thank you for reaching out! I appreciate your feedback around expanding the window width. I can absolutely see how this would be beneficial as it is currently not possible, unfortunately.
      I’ve changed the the category from “Ask the community” to “Share an Idea”. Community members can leave their feedback and upvote this feature request. This helps us roadmap future updates. Our Product Managers also check the forums regularly.

      Thank you, @Gayani_S. The expansion of that window might be very helpful. The designer can’t see the entire condition without clicking on each section. Sometimes it’s needed to check the code they have applied. Thank you again for changing the category from “Ask the community” to “Share an Idea".

        yes please, with more complex prototypes it becomes really difficult to work with the tiny window, would love it to be scalable like variable collection window for example. And also more than often i’ve been hoping to be able to copy one or more conditions/function, or at least duplicate them. strong up vote!

        Hi Figma community,
        It could be nice to add the possibility to resize the interaction window.
        When prototyping with variables, adding many interations without resizing can be a difficult experience
        And to better understanding my issue, please find some screenshots

          In UI3, it’s terrible !!!

          Are you serious ???
          Where have you learned :

          • that cutting information visually is ok
          • that small height scroll zone are ok
          • that forcing user to name variables ultra-shortly loosing meaning is ok
            And so on…

              The ability to expand the window with a selection of variables would be very helpful.

                As a developer and a ui/ux designer, this panel is beyond poor design.  At the very least, a user should be able to see all of their text on the screen.  I have to click on each element in order to see if I’ve selected or typed the right “value”.  I organize my variables in a very purposefully way to ensure I don’t have unused variables floating around and to make sure if a need the same name of a variable it is nested in the right collection.  This inherently adds to the layers/levels of the variable string (see screenshot).  Please consider changing the ability to adjust the viewport of this panel in a future release!
