Previously, you would hit CMD+K to insert a link. It was very easy to remember as it’s the most common. I am never going to remember Shift+CMD+U as being a link. Would rather a new keyboard shortcut was added to go to the actions menu, than repurposing one already frequently used.

⌘k is a convention across macOS to add a link. I jump between Teams, Outlook, TextEdit, etc and it’s always ⌘k (it’s even more frustrating because the Actions menu can still be opened by ⌘/ so why did they even make this change?). This change frustrates me every single day.

I even tried adding a custom keyboard shortcut in System Settings for Create Text but Figma continues to open the Actions menu, ignoring my input. My workaround was to map Create Link to capslock k (which I map to ⌃⌥⌘⇧ with HyperKey).
