Command F on pages such as “Recents” or “Drafts” should set focus to the search bar

I just want to give you a suggestion that you’ve included a feature in Figma to preview any artboard. But the preview of the mobile app shows only a new screen. Either to show a preview on a new screen you can replace that screen with a specific mobile device mockup. It will give a real-time look. Also, it will help the designer to manage items. See attached image… Thanks !

It is hoped that the trigger can control some attribute changes of multiple elements within the page.

Please add bezier curve connectors in FigJam. They look so much better than the simple rounded corner connectors. Miro has them and they’re very elegant.

Can we get better sort results from the insert menu, prioritizing the components that start with the search term? This will help DS owners with nested components expose the component we want users to use by providing useful naming. Attached is an example where “Elements” shouldn’t be used by consumers directly but are needed to be published in order for the top level Datepicker to be built. But it’s not prioritizing the component that is actually named the same as the search term.

The title says it all. While it’s possible to use keyboard shortcuts to bind variables to top/bottom or left/right, It would be fantastic if you could bind a variable to all sides via keyboard shortcuts (Deep Select / Shift) in auto-layout fields.

In the new dev mode, is there a way to leave comments for the developers, or do I just need to use the old comment system?

As a user of FigJam, I want the ability to select and customise the color of connector labels so that they can be more visible and aligned with my design preferences. Acceptance Criteria: Accessing Connector Label Color Options: From within the FigJam application, I can access the connector label customization options in a convenient and intuitive manner. Selecting Connector Label Color: When I select a connector label in my FigJam project, I can see a color palette or color picker tool that allows me to choose a color for that specific label. Applying the Chosen Color: Upon selecting a color from the palette or picker, the connector label should instantly update to the chosen color, making it immediately visible in my design. Customizing Multiple Connector Labels: I have the ability to customize the colors of multiple connector labels in my project, allowing me to differentiate and highlight specific connections as needed. Default Color Option: If I don’t specify a

Problem: If I buy a single license for a plugin, I can’t use that plugin with my customer accounts. Generally, enterprise customers have their own Figma organisation, and you must get your own external SSO account to access it. If I buy a plugin, I can’t use that plugin with these external accounts. Figma is forcing me to purchase the licence for every single customer or abandon the usage of the plugin. This issue is so significant that I want to avoid buying any licenced plugin from Figma. Solution: Create a global licence system that I can use the plugin with regardless of the account. There has to be some way to use bought plugins in every project regardless of the account.

I almost always immediately change a shape color to black when i make a new shape. I also hate having to hunt for a relevant font when i create a new textbox. I wish I could set a preference to black for default shape color and San Francisco (or Inter, or whichever font I’m using most) for new text boxes. This could be set globally and work well for me, or even on a project level for better context management, (though project level specification would be more for fonts than default shape color).

Slightly niche trouble-shooting issue - but it would be very useful to easily find what the current stable release of the App is. IT department here occasionally blocks automatic updates to the App. The longer this happens the more chance things go weird. (Last time we had publishing problems). Could you please publish the current [App] version number somewhere public? Figma product news & release notes seems like the logical place.

Design System designer here who would really benefit from the following: Auto-collapse nested instance trees in the component panel. With many complex components this panel can be way too long and cumbersome to scan. Allow control of which props to expose from a nested instance. Example: I have an asset-holder component which can be nested in other DS components. It has a prop for size. Let’s say I nest it within a card component for visual weight. I want my designers to be able to change the asset type (illustration, icon, etc.) but I don’t want them to change the size to keep visual consistency and vertical rhythm. When exposing props from nested instances I want the ability to choose which props are relevant when I insert them. This type of control is already possible within my dev team but not in Figma.

Hello. I usually construct flows with using many overlays (drawer, backdrops). Now, there is a problem, 'cause i can’t close overlay and go to the next screen. For example, imagine, that you have a 2 or 3 layers of overlays. For go out from 2nd layer overlays you need to use “swap overlay” with 1st layer and it gets backdrop darker… not convenient. You need to edit that specially. Or another issue. You can’t use effect of closing for go to next not-ovelay-screen, because you’re forced to use “Instant”… this feature doesn’t look difficult.

I have noticed I feel a bit frustrated every single time I try to resize the textframe to the width of the text when it has a set text style the way I am able to when the text doesn’t have. In the beginning I didn’t even find the feature and disconnected the text from the textstyle a lot and then chose it again. In general I would prefer to have all text editing features visible when I have marker

My company has separate folders doe separate releases in Figma. It’s great to see everything categorized, but sometimes, I need to browse through all of them to find something specific. I don’t remember the name of particular file or something like that. I don’t want to open every folders and check them one by one. I wish there was a way I could see all the files inside all the folders of the team. And even select which folders I want to filter out.

It would be great if a section within a section only showed the compact label (where the label displays inside the section) only if there isn’t enough space outside the section. Currently if any section is put inside another section, the inner section will always display the label within the section (compact). This is fine if there isn’t enough space outside the section to display the label, but if there is enough space then it should display the label normally on top of the section. For the way I organize files this would improve readability since I add extra space around sections anyway.

Add the ability to Hide sections on Figma files as we have on FigJam

I need an option where I can tell the prototype view to scale the Figma frame to the prototype device viewport, so that I can change the device type and all the elements are altered according to the defined constraints. (Not just scale all elements) As it is now, I have to decide to design for a specific device viewport to make it appear as intended for that device.

I keep facing difficulties while trying to find something in the community. The previews take forever to upload, so I have to check files based just on titles and I almost never find what I need. Would be cool if you could optimize the preview sizes, so they load faster

comments will sometimes get stuck and stay on the same location of my screen, regardless of where I have scrolled. They will stay the same size regardless of if I zoom in or out. This can only be fixed by hiding and unhiding the comments, at which point they will return to correct functionality for a short time.

A user should be able to quickly jump to an arbitrary page/frame by typing the page/frame name in a search box. Introducing a “Jump to…” feature similar to Zeplin’s CMD+J would solve this problem. 2.
