I am building a design system, and it’s quite the work to create text styles for every variant. It would be so nice if we could select a couple of text layers, turn them into different text styles and be able to rename them individually without having to deselect and individually select them again.

I am well aware that there are plugins that do something similar, but they require a lot of manual work and steps to do this. And I think this should be a Figma feature

Thank you for the post! I know that the teams working on improvements to design systems are actively reviewing these kinds of requests. I do acknowledge that plugins may be a bit of a tedious way to go about this in your workflow, so I’ll make sure to pass this feedback to them 😊
