It would be great if Figma for Mac matched the MacOS pattern of having the close icon on the left of the tab title.

Doing so would help to close multiple tabs by clicking repeatedly rather than having to adjust your cursor depending on the text length.

It’s always bothered me that when I use the Mac app for Figma and FigJam, the tabs have the X on the wrong side, as every other macOS app has them on the left. But now, it’s much more frustrating, because there’s a bunch of new features that open windows and previews… and they all have the X on the wrong side too!

Is there any way you can detect if a user is on macOS, and put it where we expect?

And also discussion from here Move the close icon on tabs to the left of the title:

Like the previous posters said it breaks the macOS convention and makes it annoying to close a lot of tabs.

@Junko3 maybe also something to consider with switching to the new native app design with UI3?
