I can’t seem to change text colour inside shapes. I only get the option to change the background. The only way I was able to get it to work was to create a separate text layer change the colour there and then paste it inside the shape text area.

I can’t believe that its been 3 years since this was mentioned and Figma still can’t do something as basic as changing the font colour of text inside a shape.

What’s the point of creating flow diagrams with light background colours if the font colour is going to be white and you can’t see the text. This is like the most basic functionality. The product manager for FigJam should be fired. I’m sorry this is just an epic fail. I’m going back to Miro.

The shapes generated with AI have text with different colors inside them. I hope they let us change that too. And I hope it doesn’t take 3 more years.

Example:

Thank you! I’ve been dying for 15 minutes trying to find the option. Seriously. It hurts my brain now. I will check out Miro later <3

Hi. I try a simple solution and that is worked.

You can copy object to Figma from FigJam then you can change color to everything you want.

then copy back to FigJam and use it again with previous functionality. 👍
