Our development team (who only have view and devmode access) have complained that when trying to inspect components with complex interactions (ie: interactions buried inside layers), they simply have no idea the interactions exist without the designer placing myriads of comments or writing documentation to explicitly illustrate this which entirely defeats the purpose of devmode.
I agree with the team that this is counter-intuitive and there should be a better visual indication of where a developer needs to inspect in order to see these interactions.
At this point in time only a user with edit access can actually see the interaction pathways visually, and that’s simply not good enough.
