Quando eu preciso selecionar uma camada especifica entre vários componentes, o atalho TAB não funciona. eu gostaria de poderiam reproduzir o mesmo comportamento que acontece quando existe um unico componente selecionado, quando eu seleciono multiplos componentes.
Dear Figma team, First of all, thank you for implementing variables and modes in Figma. It’s a great feature that helps us to create more solid and reliable designs and hand them over to the development team. Nevertheless, we have problems in defining the element behavior in terms of responsive design because we only have 4 modes in the subscription but 5 to 6 breakpoints depending on the project/customer we are working for. On the other hand, it is impossible to explain to management that we need to increase the subscription price for everyone by a factor of 6.25 to an Enterprise subscription so that 10 people then get 40 modes but only need 6. Are there any plans/possibilities to adjust the subscription model without bankrupting the company? ^.^
Just struck a pretty simple use case/scenario where I need the component to reset it’s state when I leave the frame. This has been touched on elsewhere, but this is such a common and key use that I thought I’d put it in it’s own thread. Scenario: I’ve got a dropdown menu with three items in it, with each item changing what columns are visible in a table and some other control states. I have three frames, each with a view of the table setup as it should be, and want to use the dropdown items to navigate between the frames - basically faking the table state change. All of this works perfectly, however when I navigate back to a previous table view state, the dropdown component is already in it’s open state - not what I want. Current workaround: none that I can come up with (other than not using interactive components at all for this, and just using multiple frames for the dropdown open/closed states as I would previously) Suggestions: Have a “reset component on leaving this frame” settin
Hey! Would be great if you guys can add the same dropdown to switch between libraries, when there are no search results. Context: Personally for me it happens quite a lot when you are searching for some component, but forgot to switch library filter. When you do so it leads to no results, and to preform correct search you are forced to clear query, switch library and put same query again, since there is no way to do make a switch directly from “No-results” state.
Can we please have a keyboard shortcut for the polygon and star tool? My pain point: Always going to the primary tool bar to pick these tools
When you export the user database, as it’s a CSV, it gets crazy with the names formatted as name, surname or name; There are two options: replace , and ; by other characters before exporting prevent user from introducing those characters when joining
Users with viewer-restricted permissions should not be able to create teams, or this should be an option at the admin level to disable. Currently, viewer-restricted users have the ability to create teams and move files from their drafts into those teams. This is causing confusion and headache, since some users have added FigJam boards to their newly created team, thinking that would allow them to share and collaborate with others.
Currently, the only option is to select the layer or frame and check the right-side inspection panel to view the applied variable color. As the number of selected frames increases, so does the complexity of finding a specific variable. It would be helpful if we could directly locate and navigate to the applied layer from the variable panel.
Please, return to the mode where you configure interactions fixed on the right side of the canvas. I’m so stressed with this new version. Pros of last version: 1.- The configuration was always on the same spot so it’s easy to remember where to click without thinking much. 2.- It didn’t cover the lines that you drag to link them to other section 3.- You had less miss-clicks trying to drag a line to a section because you had a better view of it This version’s cons: 1.- Buttons aren’t on the same places (as the fixed version) 2.- Configuration pop up covers work space 3.- It’s so much harder to place an item with manual overlay because the configuration takes so much space Please return to the old version (configuration fixed on top right panel), it was more clean and easy to work with, took less time and clicks.
I’m not sure if I’m explaining myself clearly, but I often find myself aligning a layer to the edge of the frame when what I really want is to create a specific gap of X pixels from the nearest object. Let me give you an example: Imagine I’m designing an app, and this app has a header. If I want to align a title on a particular screen of that app to the top and then create a gap (let’s say 24px down) to establish the appropriate padding from the navbar, the title ends up aligning with the edge of the frame (either behind or above the navbar). However, what would be more useful for me is if it aligned with the navbar itself and then allowed me to easily move it 24px from there, possibly with three quick nudges of 8px each. It might seem like a small thing, but I believe it’s a more common issue than it appears. It can be quite tedious to manually place objects in perfect alignment and then set the desired padding. Alternatively, placing objects close to that example header and gradually
At the moment there is seemingly no way to get data on adoption of a design system per team or design file. In order to measure the adoption of components in the design system, we’d like to see how many components from the design system as a percentage are being utilised when compared to local file components or use other legacy libraries.
It would be nice if we could add documentation for variables. I find this especially important when adding them into a library.
Would love Split view for pages. At moment I now copy and paste frames but would be nice to have split views between pages
The help question mark in the lower left blocks interactivity with library items I need most. Either load new library additions to the top of the list or make the question mark icon collapsible.
Hi, “command +” is not working for some reason. Can’t zoom in with key board shortcut.
Whenever I delete a branch, I noticed the text in the primary button for deleting it seems to get cut off. I was wondering if there’s a way to wrap the text if you want to have the button have the name of the branch, or just have the button say “delete branch” or “delete” instead? Let me know!
When we create tons of pages - primarily for new designers - If we miss using the Design system elements, are there any to identify which design elements are not from the Design system? It could be a quick summary of the components used from the Design system. It could be an easy way to see design elements that are not part of the design system. How many times are components modified etc? Some things like Finding and replacing features for Design system elements.
Text boxes that accommodate each other, have their own individual properties and variables like all other text boxes
Frame 1 - Autolayout: I want it to looks like this: |Item1 A |item 2 |Item 3| |Item4 |Item 5|Item 6| I want that Item 5 and item 6 will be under item 2 and item 3 Today the auto layout looks ugly like this for tabular data: |Item1 A |item 2 |Item 3| |Item4|Item 5|Item 6| Please supports it
It would be great if interactions only became active when you were inside the shape/path you have set it on. Currently, it becomes active when you enter the bounding box of that shape or path, this makes it difficult to prototype interactions for non-rectangular elements that are located close to one another. It can make the target area of a shape to be clicked on or hovered over almost non-existent or overridden by another element in the frame. Having this working correctly would make a massive difference to creating effective and interesting prototypes.
I’m an admin for my Figma Organisation and partly responsible for approving requests for external people to join specific files. When someone is invited to a file, or requests to join a file, the wording of the email is pretty confusing. EMAIL_ADDRESS would like to be added to the XXX organization They were invited to view FILE NAME by Kornacker, ORGANISATION MEMBER and need to be added to the organization to access the file. Then you get a notification in Figma: EMAIL_ADDRESS would like to join XXX And when you click the link in the email, you get this description: EMAIL_ADDRESS would like to join the XXX organization. MEMBER has invited them to view FILENAME, but they can only access the file if you add them. I want to make sure that the requesting external party can only access the specific file that they have been invited to, not the rest of the files in my organisation. But every time this sort of request comes through, I lose confidence in what I’m approving. Can I ask that the w
Often in my designs, I’ll use an “advanced” font settings that just don’t show up in Dev Mode. Small caps and monospaced digits are the big two culprits. They would either have to know that something looks different, go into design mode, and look at the typography settings themselves, or I would have to remember to call it out. Here’s a label I have that uses SF Pro’s monospaced digits; there is nothing that hints at this feature being enabled:
It would be great if you can pre-set the variables for viewing in the Editor where you can copy the starting FLOW Link, like a accordion showing the settings. I create full width presentation links and this is almost impossible to share, without editing the link manually, especially if there are start-up animations, as the share button will share the wrong starting point in the animation and then the client complains that the animation wasn’t shown. Now I have to copy the link from the starting FLOW area Paste it into an editor Change the url params “scaling=scale-down-width” Add the “&hide-ui=1” Copy the link & Test Share the link if its correct That’s a really roundabout way to get links out to clients? At least XD has a setup area where you can specify how the link should work and also allowed you to rename the link to something other than the filename - which in Figma doesn’t include the name of the prototype flow.
Problem: At our agency, we are using Figma to work collaboratively with our clients. We open files to them at specific moments during the design process in order for them to leave great amounts of feedback as comments. Some of these comments are about changing a bunch of values (e.g. transaction prices from a banking app). It should be easy to change them, but every time you want to change a value based on a specific comment, you have to close comment mode, so you have to go back and forth to comment mode to see the feedback. Idea: it would be great to pin the file’s comments to the window or as a floating pane while you are not on comment mode. Goal: improve workflow and productivity. I know you could have two windows of the same file open, one with the comments active and the other one to edit, but you’d still have to go back and forth between tabs. If you have two screens, then that’s no problem, but I think this idea could bring value our workflows. What do you think?
Hello, i just tried to add 20 images in my Figma File. Nothing happend when I drop them, i thought it was a bug or they where drop somewhere else, so i retry. And again nothing happend. I finally understand that i had to wait like 20 sec for them to load and be visible on my file. I think a simple loading feedback would be welcome to avoid user misunderstandig when adding images/video in a Figma file.
