I tried out the new light and dark themes but unfortunately now there is no way to return back to my default theme that I know and love. Please add a ‘Default’ theme so I can return back to the best theme of all. Both of the light and dark themes don’t even compare to the previous default.
When I Go to Main Component and make my adjustment, I love the link back to the instance of the component. Love it. Any chance that when I move a component or page to another page and I see the notification, that I can click it and go to the page where the component has been moved? Still I can click the page in the left column, but the notification is right there and similar to returning to the component. Thanks! Appreciate all you do.
Showing the view history on Prototypes will be very useful along with their name and Profile picture and Time.
I’m constantly working with 10-15 tabs open in Figma. Several are usually libraries, some figjam audits or flows, along with project files. It would be helpful if there was a way to group the tabs so I know at a glance which files are related to one another (without having 3 separate Figma windows). So if I have 12 files open and they’re split between 3 projects, how do I quickly recognize where one project ends and another begins? I was thinking color, but that may not be accessible. Thoughts?
create the ability to view annotations only for the selected layer, and not for all at once, this is very inconvenient when there are too many annotations
I really like that Figma has it’s own annotation feature with categorization, properties and so forth. But God damn, why can’t we just copy+paste and move them around like we want to?. It is extremely cumbersome to write the same thing over and over again for each screen and not being able to adjust the position.
This might be seen as human error and no one is supposed to rotate the frame before designing anyway but as I accidentally found this, maybe there’s some sort of measure to ensure that this won’t be an issue. What happen was i created a vertical frame and ironically didnt like it that way so rotated that 90 degree before proceed to create grid to test out the new features. As i added visuals, I quickly found out that the snap to grid feature does not work and it keeps show me 1x1 even if I extended to 1x2 or 2x1. (Image attached) Maybe it’s my bad and I can simply just rotate my frame then every else in it back to 0 degree but I couldn't help but think that there might be better way? Maybe all grid features should work in all orientation or at the least we can alerted if the setup is off. Just a thought, thanks! PS: The feature is incredible, please continue to improve it! Big fan.
Have there been any other requests to default auto-layout master component/variant groups? Referring to the purple dotted outline around the base/variants. Would remove two taps if I want to shuffle the order of the variants. Thanks in advance!
I would like to use Figma Buzz for social media templates but the font I am using is variable and I would like a specific optical size which I can set separately in a standard Figma file but I cannot set it in Figma Buzz, it changes automatically when increasing the font size and that doesn’t work for me in this situation. I know the idea was to have a more intuitive interface for simple templates but I would use it a lot in Figma Buzz if it was available. Would it be possible to implement it on there?
Master layout guides should have a local control to turn the visibility on or off as required.
Describe the problem your experiencing and how your idea helps solve this Today I have to save the emails inviting me to a file, there is no place to see all files shared with me. Recent doesn’t save the list, just shows what was recently accessed. I believe the problem is felt most when the person is sharing a file from their Drafts, as opposed to something that has been published that can be searched for and found in Figma. Add as much context as possible (screenshots, Figma files, mockups, etc.) Microsoft Office/Google has a feature which enables users to see all the files shared with them for easy access. Ask questions to bring the community into the conversation (e.g. Does anyone else experience this? Is anyone using a plugin or workaround to help solve this?, etc. Is there a work around to saving the links to shared files? Sometimes it’s not even an email but a link someone is sending via chat message. Seems plugin can’t solve for this as it’s above the file level. Was thin
I love the direction the new Grid layout is going! I’ve begun using it in my work for certain cases, but I anticipate I’ll use it for almost everything whenever a few of the upcoming features are released. One thing I’ve run into repeatedly is when trying to adjust a grid, I can’t seem to find the track size dots. From the tutorials and Grid playground file, I know the dots are supposed to show up when hovering over a cell. Track resize dots not visibleI kept thinking I’d accidentally changed my view mode or hit some unknown hotkey, but I finally realized that the track dots only show up below a certain zoom level.Zoomed-in a littleNow that I realize this, it seems clear that this behavior is by design. I only wanted to mention it because it confused me multiple times in the few weeks I’ve been using it, and I only noticed the zoom-level having an effect by accident.Perhaps there’s a way to make it clearer that the dots show up when you zoom in, or I wonder whether the dots could just
Alright, guys FigPals were the best (and weirdest) thing to come out of April Fools’ this year. They follow your cursor, help you design, and love you unconditionally… maybe too much. 👀But here’s the problem—they’re only available for April Fun Week! 😭We can’t let this be just a one-time joke. FigPals deserve to be a permanent feature (with a toggle for those who don’t want constant companionship). That’s why I made a Change.org petition to show Figma how much we want to keep them!👉 Sign here: https://www.change.org/p/make-figpals-a-permanent-figma-featureLet’s make sure our tiny, slightly obsessive design assistants don’t get deleted forever. #KeepFigPals 🩷🐾mr bonkymr bonky
Now that iFrame embeds are available in Figma Sites, I think it would be cool if they would be also available in Figma Slides
In the new Draw feature, when an effect is applied to an object, the effect’s values (e.g., X, Y, blur, spread, etc) are conveniently shown in the sidebar — which is super helpful! However, in Design mode, these values aren’t visible in the sidebar. Instead, you have to manually open the effect settings to view them, which interrupts the workflow. It would be great to bring the same sidebar notation from the Draw feature into Design mode. Thanks for considering!
I need a “State Machine” in Figma.I mean, variants are ok. But limited and to create advanced interactivity it gets complex with conditional logic. So yeah, a state machine, would be great.
Currently working on a component as a test for the new Figma Buzz beta and think the ability to automate asset creations is a real time saver. What would be great is the ability to assign a variable or colour value in the excel document to the fill/stroke/text colour. Example: In the excel document, if you put in the relevant value (be it a hex code or a var string (--Brand-Colour-Peony-600) then the assets would change based on the design systems variables and colours.PS: it wouldn’t hurt tom have a mode selection too.
Love the product, recently switched from powerpoint and never switching back. The general compatability just makes figma slides ruthlessly better.I am experiencing a problem, however, with exports being very large in size. Ideally I would like to share sales meeting and pitchdecks with customers and investors but files tend to be larger than the 25mb email limit after exporing as pdfs.Would be neat with some better compression capabilities for figma slides!
Hello everyone,I've been using Figma at work for over a year, and there are some things I still don't really get or use it better to get the most out of it. Maybe it's my fault for not paying enough attention to all the tutorial videos, but I don't really understand the idea of 'anchoring' an element in your frame based on size changes, making sure that the element stays in the same place. It would be really helpful to know the distance from the constraints I've set. For example, I have a 4K frame (3840 x 2160) and I want to put a small logo in the bottom-right corner. In the 'Position' box, the numbers 'X' and 'Y' will be based on the pixels that the element is lined up with. This is OK, but if I want to line them up based on a specific margin, like 20 pixels from the bottom, I want to be able to see that based on the settings I have set for the element, for example the right and bottom constraints.I'm sorry if this is just because I'm new to using Figma, but I'd really like to know if
Hi Figma team,I’d love to suggest two features that would significantly improve the workflow for many users:1. **Native Table Tool** It would be amazing to have a built-in table creation tool. Currently, tables require a mix of auto layout frames or third-party plugins, which is time-consuming. A native solution with support for cell editing, column/row controls, and table styles would be incredibly helpful.2. **Partial Image Transparency** It would also be great to have a tool that allows making only a part of an image transparent—like a transparency brush or eraser tool. Right now, achieving this effect requires complex masking or external editing.Thank you for building such a powerful platform!Best regards, Olha Shevchuk
Hi Figma Team,I absolutely love using Figjam for brainstorming, User journey mapping and creating User flow diagrams—it’s an essential part of my design workflow. However, I often find myself switching back to Figma just to check spacing and alignment when I want to ensure everything is precise. It would be incredibly helpful to have a space checker or spacing measurement tool available in Figjam as well. This would allow designers like me to quickly verify distances between elements without leaving the Figjam. It’s a small addition that would go a long way in helping us design more confidently and keep things pixel-perfect—especially during early-stage design discussions and low-fidelity mockups.
Request:Please enable number variables like corner radius to swap properly across libraries — just like color variables do.Problem:Even when number variables (e.g., corner-radius-sm) are named and structured the same in two libraries, Figma does not swap them automatically. This breaks consistency and forces manual rework. Why it matters:Design systems rely on tokenized values (like spacing, radius, and elevation). Not being able to swap them across libraries limits scalability for multi-brand or multi-theme systems.Suggestion:Make number variables resolve across libraries by matching variable names and types — the same way color variables already work.

Letter-spacing values declared in % in Design mode should be represented in em in Dev mode, instead of px or rem. em units are relative to the font size, whereas px and rem are not.For example, a letter-spacing value of 2% should be represented in CSS as .02em. (You can’t declare letter-spacing in % units in CSS, so this is why we must use em.)Currently, when you view the code in Dev Mode, the only unit options you are given are rem or px, which are two static units, not relative units. This means you end up outputting random values like “letter-spacing: 0.1125rem;” which doesn’t scale relative to your font size on the front-end.This causes many headaches for me and my developers. Would love to see this updated! 🙏
Now I can’t distribute objects evenly when selecting them all, but I used to be able to. It was really helpful when making tables.
