Rolling out: Projects become folders 📂 ✨
Let us know what would make Figma better for you.

Hi all, use case:to set file display order, now I need to go to per project folder and select the order while most of the time i’d love to view items per alphabetical order everywhere requestif this is existing feature, please let me know how to do that if not existing, please allow option to say “apply this order to all folders” on the dropdown or some other solution that achieve the same goal reference image
The branch review window is large but not resizable. When comparing two-up web/desktop screens, it’s hard to see all the details. I know you can zoom or use the overlay mode, but I have a 27" monitor and plenty of room I just want to make the window larger so the two previews will scale.
There doesn’t appear to be anyway to set text to be multi columns in Figma Slides. I know there are plug-ins to create the effect, however these still don’t allow the text to overflow into the next column. It’s a very common feature across other presentation tools like Keynote and Powerpoint, anyone know a fool-proof work around so I can add it into our company templates?
It would be nice if we could have a setting that defaults to dev mode when opening a file/project. It does stay in dev mode when I’m switching pages within a project which is nice.
Hey there! Figma Slides are SUPERCOOL! Thank you so much! However I have a question:Hidden slide with a closed eye is still pretty big and takes a lot of space in the window. Are there any plans to make it smaller like in Keynote? There it looks like a line, not the whole slide.THANK YOU! 💜💜💜
If I add a comment and tag only myself, I’d love it if the comment could be automatically unread. I use self-tagging as a bookmark/reminder for things I’ll need to come back to, and seeing the unread state makes it easier. And no worries if this already exists as a setting I can toggle.
Would be great to have a move to end or move to front option in Figma slides. If the deck is long, it can take forever to drag slides to the end (most common, editing things out of presentation into a “outs” section) or beginning of a doc.
Hi,For the product I'm designing, we have a lot of functionalities that are part of other functionalities. It would be nice if it were possible to paste designs into another page and make adjustments for both the original and the copy at once. But without turning it into a component (because it's not a component) Thanks!
I feel that there should be the ability for Figma MAKE to look at the variants of a component that is being used from a published library. For example, I have created a text input field component and have asked Fimga MAKE to create this as working text field. I have constructed the component to use variants (Static, Active, Value Added, Error and Disabled) but frustratingly the system is not smart enough to look at the variants I have created in order to base its design from.
Problem:Yesterday we carried out an in-person workshop at work, today I spent almost 3 hours digitizing it in FigJam for the team.Solution:What if I could upload a picture/set of pictures and use an AI-powered feature in FigJam to digitize the content of the workshop session.Pros: Most workshops mainly consist of elements (text, arrows, stickies, etc.) or frameworks (user journeys, retros, etc.) that already exist in FigJam Figma and FigJam already use AI for several tasksCons:Image quality could not be the optimal –in that case, offer image enhancer Text can be illegible –in that case, highlight said content as “TBC” or similar
Maybe I’m the only person who is using icon libraries that need to be adjustable in style to a variety of scenarios (I’m probably not), but the fact that I can’t edit the end points in icon components without detaching the component since years is actually driving me low-key mad. And I have survived a lot of things so far. So curious why this property can’t be edited and if we can please get this ;)
I want the stroke style to inherit all properties, not just colors you know we have :color、size、strokes per side、 inside and outside、 and so on。 I want to write it all down when I create t he styles 🤣
Sometimes pages need to live across Multiple files. Instead of duplicating the pages and creating a new instance of it, it would be good to have one single source of truth. The intended result is to have one page that is in-sync across different files. If it gets updated in file 2, those updates should appear in file 1, and vice versa.Alternatively, just being able to embed a read-only version of the page would be helpful. It could be editable only in the one (parent) file, but is visible in the other.
Currently Figma doesn’t offer all languages, for example Dannish, Finish, Norwegian are not available. Would be perfect to have all languages so that we can translate slides directly.
I’m lost… I cannot tell consistently where the heck I am supposed to find the rounded corners editor for elements. This new UI just feels overly complicated with things jumping around in different places. The other UI was predictable. This one does not seem to be.
I just want to delete all my drafts, but the interface makes it nearly impossible. There's no way to select all, the checkboxes are hard to see, there's no clear "delete all" button, and no visible scroll to navigate the list. The experience is confusing and frustrating for bulk actions. Please make it easier to manage multiple drafts with bulk selection, visible scroll, and more accessible action buttons.
It would be so useful for those in Game Design to be able to create a button from text, using auto layout then a fill to then be able to edit notches, angles and manipulate shapes. You can adjust radius’s so surely it would be a simple addition. I understand it can be done if you add auto layout after but it would just be a better experience if you could do it at the beginning.
The meta info of a comment link shows figma design file icon.Better UX:If a user has figma authenticated on their slack as an integration. The meta info should show the comment text truncated to 30-40 characters.
I’m just curious why this in the [padding] box 👇 is not here in the [gap] box too 👇why I have to open the drop down for the variables when I can get it within a single click?
Hi FigmaIt would be great to be able to show/hide component properties when using an instance. Some of my components are complex and having to scroll through seemingly endless nested components, variant settings and other props in order to access the design functions that live below them can get irksome quickly. Thanks
I’m using variables and modes to create multilingual prototypes, using a mode for each language (e.g., English, Hindi, and Korean). When designing, I can switch the language for the whole page easily which is great to create a multilingual prototypes. However, for testing I’d like to be able to provide separate links for participants to test the prototype in their own languages. This could be achieved if there was a way to set the mode for the page as part of the prototype url parameters. That is, having a link with the mode set to Hindi that I can share with Hindi speakers, and another link always set to Korean to be shared with Korean speakers. Currently, I had to duplicate the prototype page to create language-specific versions (setting each copy to a different mode). When there are changes I’ve been regenerating the copies which results in the previous links to the prototypes no longer being valid.
When I export SVGs from Motiff and import them into Figma, all the text gets broken down into individual vector shapes for each letter. This makes it impossible to edit the text as a whole in Figma, and increases the number of unnecessary layers drastically.I would like to request support for preserving text elements during SVG import — either as editable text layers or by detecting grouped text for easier editing. This feature would significantly improve workflows for users importing design assets from other tools like Motiff.
In our current workflow, new changes to an existing file and/or library start with a branch. The branch allows for a staging environment, but unfortunately we are not able to run API calls to a branch to test before moving to a “production” state (merged to main and published libraries). Can we please make this possible?
Can we allow items from preferences (and other menus) to show up in the Actions CMD+K menu? I use invert zoom direction a lot for example. Turning stuff on and off constantly like this is a pain.
Dear Figma Team,We’d like to report a serious misunderstanding that occurred due to the current UI design of the file search and metadata display. When searching for design files, we noticed that the user profile and the last edited timestamp are shown together. However, the user profile displayed is that of the file creator, not the person who last edited the file. This led us to mistakenly believe that a former employee—whose profile was shown—was somehow still accessing and editing our files through unknown means. We were very close to taking legal action before we discovered that the profile displayed belonged to the file's original creator, not the last editor. This UI behavior is highly misleading and can lead to serious misunderstandings and even legal consequences. We kindly suggest revising the interface so that it clearly distinguishes between the file creator and the last editor, or at least displays the most relevant profile depending on the context.Thank you for your attenti
