Feature Request: Introducing Flow Checkpoints for Enhanced User Story Navigation
Hi Figma Team,
I wanted to share an idea that could enhance the user flow experience in Figma prototypes, particularly for longer user stories with multiple significant actions.
Currently, the Flow Starting Point feature allows us to set a starting position in a flow, which is helpful. However, I wonder if we could go further by adding Flow Checkpoints. Here’s how this could be beneficial:
Proposed Flow Checkpoints
Segment-Based Notes: Checkpoints could allow us to attach notes or information relevant to specific segments of a flow. For example, we could add context or background info not visually represented but helpful for anyone exploring the prototype, giving more depth to the user journey.
Navigational Anchors: As users navigate through the prototype, these checkpoints could act as “milestones” that update when reaching certain screens. This would provide a clear indication of where a user is within a complex flow. Additionally, if users press a key (e.g., “R”), they could qui
